For the World Ice Skating Day 2023, SFV will organise events at Royal Ice Rink, Hanoi and Landmark Ice Rink, Ho Chi Minh City. We plan to embrace that ice skating is open to all, with the slogan “Heart to Heart”. This year with our WISD Ambassador: Doan Ngoc Bao - a handicapped short track skater, we will be hosting a Tik Tok Dancing on Ice challenge as well as exhibitions at both ice rinks in Vietnam. In Hanoi, there will be a show with group dance performance and several of our Federation’s medalists from the Nationals 2023. There will also be a free learn - to - skate session for the orphans with fun games and awards. In Ho Chi Minh City, we will be showcasing figure skating and short track speed skating performances as well as Aerobics on ice which public skaters are invited to participate in.Disabled children and school kids will be given free skating sessions as well. It will be a fun filled day for the young and old!
